About JTWC

The Jecy Transformative World Care Foundation, based in Muranga and Nairobi, Kenya, is a community organization fueled by compassion. Inspired by the scripture in Matthew 5:7, “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy,” Jecinta Mumbi, the foundation’s core founder, has carried a vision for over 9 years to uplift those in need.

This journey began with a calling to help a single grandmother and her children. It blossomed into a mission that currently supports approximately 15 families and 6 individuals, including elderly lacking family support and even some mentally ill community members.

Jecy and her family, guided by this verse, turned their compassion into action. They started by using their own resources to provide food and medication to these vulnerable individuals. Witnessing the impact, friends and community members joined the cause, leading to the formation of the foundation.

What we do

We are driven by a simple yet profound belief: that every individual deserves dignity, care, and support, providing essential assistance to vulnerable members of society in Muranga, Kenya, and Nairobi.

Here’s what we do;

  • Food Assistance: We ensure that no one in our community goes hungry by providing regular meals to elderly individuals and mentally ill members who lack familial support.
  • Medication Support: We offer access to necessary medications and medical care for those who are sick and unable to afford or access proper treatment.
  • Care and Support: We provide holistic care and support to our beneficiaries, offering them not only physical necessities but also emotional support and companionship.
  • Shelter and Homestead Construction/Repair: Addressing housing insecurity, we construct or repair homesteads for the most desperate cases, providing safe and secure living conditions.
  • Life Skills and Capacity Building: Empowering individuals and families to thrive independently, we offer programs focused on life skills and capacity building, equipping them with tools for a better future.
